Thankyou
Unboxing a movement

Print & Packaging

How do you engage a room full of extraordinary leaders in a story? Thankyou had this very opportunity at the Global Partner Summit, Dunnhumby in Tokyo, Japan. They had a chance to tell their story—to share the idea of ending global poverty with a room full of people who in turn had a chance to say yes. We helped Thankyou craft that story in a gift.

We didn’t just want the recipient to feel like they were opening a box, our goal was for them to open up the world of Thankyou. As they tear open the box, it’s an invitation to join the movement. We designed this packaging to tell the Thankyou story and show off their products at the same time.

After our initial discussions with Thankyou, we conceptualised ways of offering an unboxing experience that would tell Thankyou's story. The perforated cover became an integral part in encouraging each leader to engage in an experience. Elevated products within a die cut tray, concealed with a perforated cover, finished with Spot UV black on a black box, all coming together to make it a seamless unboxing.

Curiosity and excitement became the experience, leading to a number of intrigued and elated responses.
